When you detect negativity
Add "like real; as if" (才怪)
eg: "You played terribly!" + "like real; As if" = "You played terribly!" "Like real!"
When you embrace positivity
Add "Sure; of course"(当然;真的)
eg:"Good Defence!" + "Sure; Of course" = "Good Defence!" " Of course!"
By simply adding, you remain POSITIVE always!

The Art of War 孙子兵法
知彼知己,百战不殆 yi3;
If you know your enemies and know yourself,
you will win a hundred times in a hundred battles.
不知彼而知己,一胜一负;
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent,
you win one and lose the next.
不知彼,不知己,每战必败。
If you do not know yourself or your enemy,
you will always lose.

What difference a second make
You take:
24 sec to defend
24 sec to attack
5 sec to fast break
3 sec to score
2 sec to box out
2 sec to rebound and etc
but only 1 sec to foul, to lose ball, to give up...
A game of 2400 sec =
100 attacks=
100 defence=
480 fast breaks=
800 shots=
1200 box outs=
1200 rebounds=
2400 fouls=
2400 lost of ball possession=
2400 thoughts of giving up!
In short, the only road to victory is to persevere till the very last second!

I believe
"There are miracles in life I must achieve
But first I know it starts inside of me
If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it
I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day"
---R Kelly《I belive I can fly》

Offence
Readiness
1) Move towards for the ball pass.
Standing and waiting slows down everything.
Once you get the ball.
2) Hold a moment.
You allow teammates to get into position and look out for them.
3) Aim at the basket.
You lure the opponent to move towards you.
4) Fake before you shoot, pass, dribble.
You get opponents off defence.
5) Once you shoot, go for your own rebound.
You will know best where the ball goes to.
6) Once you pass, prepared to get a return pass.
Pass and run; screen and roll.
7) Once you dribble, do it responsibly.
Bouncing once or twice and hold on to the ball only shows your lack of confidence.
* Do more passes.
You save more energy and launch a faster attack.
** Create scoring chances.
You affect opponent's morale.
***Fight for offence rebounds.
You leave no chance to the opponents.
Note the weakness.
Visualise a perfect execution of offence.

Box out 2
Step 1:
Be aware of when the shot is taken.
Whoever is guarding the shooter should shout when the ball is released.
This allows teammates who can't see the shot time to react.
Step 2:
Pivot toward the basket immediately.
Step 3:
Put your body between the basket and the player you are guarding.
Bend your knees slightly and extend your arms away from your sides.
Step 4:
Keep your opponent away from the basket by maintaining body contact.
You want your opponent to be pinned behind you.
Step 5:
Jump for rebound.

Have you ever?
Have you ever said
"I am very nervous, that's why cannot play well"
Have you ever said
"I am not in the mood, that's why I cannot focus"
Have you ever said
"Not my fault, I am not the only one, the rest are also like that"
Have you ever said
"Why are they always like that"
